Rabbit Shampoo
Rabbits like to be clean, and you can help them stay that way with a rabbit shampoo. Rabbit shampoo can be used in bathing, which can be an infrequent addition to your regular grooming routine. Rabbits do not like to be wet, and their fur is slow to dry, both of which mean bathing your rabbit may do much more harm than good. The best solution is a “dry” rabbit shampoo, which may simply be brushed into the fur. The rabbit shampoo will cause dander, loose hair, and dirt to clump and brush out.
An alternative to rabbit shampoo is using pet wipes. These are similar to normal hand wipes, but are formulated to not irritate the rabbit's sensitive skin. Using these products, or a dry shampoo, will supplement brushing to remove as much extra hair and skin as possible, preventing dangerous hair balls from forming in the rabbit's gut.
